
Terri Woytkiw
Director of Communications

Terri is a recently retired registered nurse, with over 40 years experience. She has worked in acute care, home care, clinical consultation, education, management and project leadership. Over the years, her interests and practice have come to focus on palliative care and the care of older adults, primarily in rural areas. Terri led the creation of the palliative care and complex care programs in Alberta Health Services North Zone in 2017. She has held board roles with Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association, CHPCA, Alberta Gerontological Nurses Association, the Canadian Gerontology Nursing Association, and the Canadian Palliative Care Nurses Interest group. Most recently, Terri worked as a Special Advisor for Alberta Health Services North Zone. She has a Master of Nursing, a Palliative Care diploma from Grant MacEwan College, and held CNA certifications in Hospice Palliative Care and Gerontology for many years.
Terri has always been an active volunteer, and currently gives time to the Parkland Food Bank, Grandmothers of Alberta for a New Generation and the Canadian Red Cross.
