Pediatric palliative care is a less commonly discussed topic in the field of palliative care nursing. There are many unique approaches and interventions which are implemented to support children and families whom are living with a life-limiting illness. This presentations will outline the various conditions and illness that encompass serious illness in pediatrics, as well as discuss tasks and services involved in the care of children who require pediatric palliative care. Strategies to support children with serious illness and their families will also be shared.
