Charitable Status
The Canadian Palliative Care Nursing Association, (CPCNA) is a registered not-for-profit, charitable organization that represents nurses from across Canada who integrate or specialize in providing palliative care for people with serious illness and for their families.
The mission of the association includes:

Inspiring knowledgeable and compassionate nursing practice

Cultivating a community of nurses who care for people affected by serious and life limiting illness

Establishing the highest national standards of palliative and end of life care

Advocating for equitable access to palliative care for people living in Canada

Supporting education and preparation for certification in palliative care (Canadian Nurses Association)

Supporting nursing research in palliative care.

The CPCNA works to achieve its’ mission through webinars, conferences, competency development, research and networking opportunities.

In order to support educational endeavors and online sharing of expertise, we accept financial donations that are tax deductible. Receipts will be issued for all donations greater than or equal to $20 (Canadian funds).
